TRC Construction Services, Inc. was selected by Cox Investments to provide negotiated Design-Build Services on this 25,000 sf office warehouse in Brentwood, TN. TRC Construction Services worked with the Cox Investments and the landowner to provide numerous site layouts until the most efficient site boundaries could be defined that minimized the owners land area purchased. TRC Construction Services also worked with the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) during the design process to coordinate all layouts to correspond with TVA’s high voltage lines and tower that runs across the property. Cox Interiors is a manufacturer and supplier of high quality wood doors, wood trim and millwork.

Key Building Components

• 22,000 sf footprint consisting of:
• 19,000 sf warehouse, 3,000 sf office space, and 3,000 sf of mezzanine storage that can be converted to future office space.
• Pre-engineered metal building structure enhanced to allow brick veneer attachment.
• Precast concrete hollow core plank structural system over offices to achieve 2 hr. fire rating between the offices and the mezzanine.
